FISHER-PRICE STORYBOOK
+ Publication
This book was a solo-project. It is hand-bound and 12 pages full of drawn illustrations reflecting Fisher-Price's most iconic and nostalgic toys. I’m often inspired by children’s books and illustrations, and so this project also acted as a love letter to my childhood books and stories.

PROCESS

A large part of child development comes from tactile and visual experiences. For that reason, I was largely inspired by paper-cut illustrations. While they were charming, I was limited in the shapes and textures I could create.
Early paginations.
Introducing digital illustrations gave more opportunities to play with design. I expanded color outside my limited range of primaries, incorporated 3D modeling, and experimented with perspective. Iconic toys, alphabet letters, and stories of significance are all integrated into the book.
